Christine Brown
Research Project Coordinator
Christine is a Research Project Coordinator for the InterACT (Intervention for Appropriate Care & Treatment) Trial, an NHMRC funded Partnership Project investigating the effectiveness and cost-consequences of an intervention to reduce the provision of non-beneficial treatment at the end-of-life.
She has over ten years’ experience as an ICU nurse in education and hospital emergency response. Previous project work has included implementing a Sepsis and Neutropenic fever recognition and clinical pathway for the cancer population across several Melbourne hospitals. Chris joined QUT in 2016 as a Research Assistant in the IHBI Chronic Disease and Ageing group.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Nursing), Postgraduate Diploma in critical care nursing and Masters of advanced nursing practice.
