Senior Research Assistant
Chris joins AusHSI as a Senior Research Assistant for the InterACT Trial: Intervention for Appropriate Care & Treatment, an NHMRC funded Partnership Project that will investigate the effectiveness and cost-consequences of an intervention to reduce the provision of non-beneficial treatment at the end-of-life.
She has over 10 years’ experience as an ICU nurse with experience in education and hospital emergency response. Previous project work has included implementing a Sepsis and Neutropenic fever recognition and clinical pathway for the cancer population across several Melbourne hospitals. In 2016 Chris moved to Brisbane and joined QUT as a Research Assistant in the IHBI Chronic Disease and Ageing group.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Nursing), Postgraduate Diploma in critical care nursing and Masters of advanced nursing practice.
