Kamila Davidson
Research Associate – Implementation Science

Kamila is a Research Associate at AusHSI and an Accredited Practising Dietitian. Her PhD explored the responsibility for assessing weight status of primary school aged children and how to improve early identification of overweight and obesity. Kamila is dedicated to transforming healthcare delivery to provide equitable and sustainable healthcare to all, especially in regional and remote areas. Her interests include prevention and treatment of childhood overweight and obesity, implementation science, digital health and precision public health.

Kamila has worked with the Parenting, Eating, Activity for Child Health (PEACHTM) Program, the Health Impact Project, NOURISH: Early Childhood Education Project, and the Building Foundation for Digital Precision Prevention for Obesity in Queensland Project. Kamila is currently involved in the evaluation of the Program of Assistance for Survivors of Torture and Trauma (PASTT).
