Megan Campbell
Operations Director
As Operations Director, Megan Campbell uses her exemplary management skills to lead all aspects of the day-to-day running of AusHSI, including the centre’s communication, engagement, funding and implementation activities. She has over 15 years’ experience in complex, large-scale research program development and management, and brings to AusHSI highly developed skills in research governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
Since working in the health and medical research industry for organisations such as Queensland Health and the Queensland Institute of Medical Research, Megan has developed the knowledge and expertise to provide exceptional leadership in the strategic development of health research opportunities. She also specialises in the facilitation and ongoing support of interdisciplinary research collaborations and health industry partnerships.
Megan’s health communications training includes a residency with the world renowned Mayo Clinic. Over the past 10 years she has played a role in obtaining more than 50 internationally and nationally competitive grants and commercial research contracts for the teams she has managed.
