As part of AusHSI’s drive to build strong health services research capacity, we also support students undertaking postgraduate degrees.

Our experienced researchers currently supervise approximately 20 PhD students, with several supported via our competitively funded research grants.

AusHSI strongly values the wealth of real-world knowledge and insights its students bring to the group our PhD students come from a variety of backgrounds and have followed a range of pathways to higher degree research, with many returning to research or study after working in industry or policy roles.

We provide a wide range of opportunities for graduates to develop their existing skills and future careers in the field of health services research.
