We live in a world where access to high quality information is at a premium, yet the challenges of knowing what and who to trust have never been harder. Academic journals are at the forefront of this information war, and editors have had to become adept at navigating it to ensure their journals’ role as trusted collaborators with academics and trusted sources for readers.

Professor Ginny Barbour, who is currently Editor-in-Chief at the Medical Journal of Australia and has worked across publishing in three continents, and the Co-Chair of the Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA), will give an insider’s view on what to beware of and how to thrive in this new Information Age.
