Angela Byrnes
Research Fellow – Implementation Science
Angela is an early-career researcher with a background as a clinical and research dietitian in the acute care and ambulatory settings. She has experience working in strong multidisciplinary teams, both in clinical and research settings, where she brings perspective about holistic care and achieving individuals’ nutrition goals. At AusHSI, she undertakes implementation research whilst supporting real world implementation of innovations.
As a health services researcher with a focus on implementation science, Angela is particularly interested in implementation sustainability and has skills in qualitative research and data management. Angela is passionate about improving patient care by enhancing service delivery, focusing on the patient experience of care. Drawing on her clinical background, Angela is a strong patient advocate and aims to consistently bring the consumer perspective to inform her research.
