Jenna English
‘Ember to Empower’ Project Coordinator

Jenna English is the Project Coordinator for ‘Ember to Empower’: developing and piloting a one-stop burn recovery toolkit for burn survivors.  Jenna previously coordinated the CHD LIFE+ study, joining the AusHSI team in May 2022.

Jenna has a nursing background, specialising in communicable disease control and immunisation, and has a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Jenna has previously coordinated a multi-drug resistant tuberculosis project in the Western Province of Papua New Guinea, coordinated the Metro North Public Health Unit’s contact tracing team during the COVID-19 pandemic response, and been involved in a remote primary health care project in Vanuatu.
