Join clinical, academic, policy and consumer stakeholders to share insights into easing the burden of liver disease in Australia.

Overview

Liver disease affects up to 1 in 3 Australian adults, and costs Australia upwards of $51 billion each year. While this burden on our health system continues to grow, the majority of liver disease is preventable.

This event brings together experts in liver disease, as well as those with lived experience and advocates for better liver health, to share the latest evidence and research in liver disease, and discuss what needs to change to improve Australia’s liver health.

A roundtable discussion with all attendees will explore current barriers, and determine key recommendations for easing the burden of liver disease in Australia.

Target Audience
Clinicians, consumers, researchers, advocates, policy makers and stakeholders who hold an interest or expertise in the burden and effects of liver disease in Australia.
