Evidence-based decision making is underpinned by an understanding of data.

In today’s health system, data have become increasingly complex both in terms of the variety and volume available. Making sense of this complexity offers new opportunities to gain detailed insights on the current state of healthcare delivery, including the impact of policy changes and areas for future service improvement.

What we do

One of AusHSI’s strengths is managing, analysing, and communicating data. AusHSI’s experience in managing and analysing health data is underpinned by our in-depth knowledge of current and new statistical methods combined with meaningful engagement with clinicians at all stages of the research process.

We focus on the use of simple yet robust study designs and appropriate statistical methods to make the most of data available. We are experts at communicating insights gained from statistical analyses, to inform future research and help decision-makers to improve health policy and practice
